Tesco Stores (Malaysia) today launched its Tesco Online Grocery Home Shopping (GHS) service for the Klang Valley.
The service offers customers 15,000 lines of fresh and frozen food, groceries and non-food items such as health and beauty, baby needs and basic household items.
Tesco Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Georg Fischer said: “We’ve received more than 100 orders per day and our customers have said they enjoy the service and the convenience it brings,” he told reporters after the ‘Pick and Win’ contest prize giving ceremony here today.
The GHS service is offered by four stores in the Klang Valley — Tesco Extra Mutiara Damansara, Tesco Extra Cheras, Tesco Extra Puchong and Tesco Klang — and will be extended to Tesco Extra in Penang and Johore by February 2014.
