Law En Ruey, the chief operating officer of recently listed book publisher Sasbadi Holdings Bhd, has moved to retire from his post at the ripe old age of 30, according to an announcement on Bursa Malaysia.
Incidentally, the book publisher’s second annual general meeting was also held earlier today, where Law had made the announcement that he would not seek reelection as the book publisher’s COO, and had retired at the adjournment of the meeting
Law, who is also the son of Sasbadi’s managing director Law King Hui, holds a stake of 15,0000 ordinary shares in the book publisher, and has no other directorships in any other public-listed companies.
Sasbadi, having recently completed and filed their first financial quarter as a public-listed company, had reported a revenue of RM16.32 million, and a pre-tax profit of RM2.28 million. The book publisher had listed on July 23, 2014, and had ended their first financial quarter on Nov 30, 2014.
At the end of the trading day, Sasbadi’s shares were last traded at RM1.56, up 2 sen.
